The Lake George Land Conservancy is sponsoring a Fall Foliage Hike on October 12th.
Cat and Thomas Mts. Preserve, Bolton Landing
9 am – 3 pm
Join this fun fall foliage hike for some of the best views of Lake George and the changing canopy. Hikers will be led by experienced guide John Crist on this 7-mile hike through the autumn woods and to both summits of Cat and Thomas Mts.
If you’re not able to do the whole trail system, you may choose to join the group that turns back after reaching Thomas Mt., led by LGLC staff. The hike to Thomas covers about 3 miles round trip and follows an old logging road and some wooded trails.
Rain or shine. Hike intensity is challenging if doing the whole system; moderate if going to Thomas only. Registration is required – call 518-644-9673 or email Sarah at events@lglc.org, by noon Friday, October 11 to sign up.
