I am sorry to report that Arthur Borin, Town Councilman for the town of Dresden and President of the Huletts Landing Volunteer Fire Department, died last night.

“Art” as he was known to his friends, was instrumental in having the new firehouse built in Huletts and bringing in the AT&T cell phone tower. He served on the Dresden Town Board for many years and worked in countless ways to make the community a better place.

Funeral arrangements are not available at this time.

“May God support us all the day long, till the shades lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in His mercy may He give us a safe lodging, and a holy rest and peace at the last.”
