“Anchors Aweigh!” Midshipman Conner Gorman!


Connor Gorman has begun his career at the Naval Academy.

The Gorman family of Pickerel Bay (Parents : Tom and Jill Gorman; and Grandparents : Bob and Millie Gorman) have proudly announced the appointment and acceptance of their newly entered Midshipman, Conner Gorman, to the class of 2019 at the U.S. Naval Academy. Conner, a recent graduate of Rice Memorial High School, South Burlington, Vt, reported to duty July 1, 2015 and has just successfully completed his first very rigorous and challenging experience, ”Plebe Summer”.

Those who survived this first ordeal realize, with vivid clarity, the true meaning of Navy tradition its history, mission, purpose and motto, “Honor, Courage and Commitment”. Conner’s first year of academics as a midshipman have already begun, and his aspiration is to become a “Astrophysicist”.
